Travel information from 1.2.2018

The following vaccines are the only ones available on the NHS for travel

Hep A       Typhoid   Tetanus   Diphtheria/polio


Following vaccines are no longer available on NHS, must be done privately

(Hep B, Meningitis, Yellow Fever, Rabies)


Hep B for occupational health is the responsibility of the employer



Malaria tablets are no longer available on the NHS.

All patients including children will have to pay private fees.

Maloff (over the counter) from £46.00 (24 tablets)

Mafamoz (private script from nurse) from £45.00 (12 tablets)

Malarone (private script from nurse) from £45.00 (12 tablets)

Prices depend on dose and amount of tablets needed
